The Bumm Recamier Uterine Curette is a reusable gynecological surgical instrument designed for uterine curettage and removal of tissue from the uterine cavity. The instrument features a fenestrated curette tip and an elongated shaft for access and controlled manipulation during gynecological procedures.
Available in sharp or blunt configurations, the curette allows selection of the working edge appropriate for the intended procedure. Sharp uterine curettes are designed for curettage and removal of endometrial tissue, while blunt configurations provide a non-sharpened working edge. Recamier-pattern curettes are manufactured in multiple tip widths and may be offered with rigid or malleable shafts, depending on the configuration.
Manufactured from stainless steel, the Bumm Recamier Uterine Curette is designed for repeated use and reprocessing in accordance with the applicable instructions for use.
