The Bumm Uterine Curette is a reusable gynecological surgical instrument designed for uterine curettage, tissue removal, and sampling procedures. The instrument features a malleable shaft that allows the clinician to carefully shape the curette to accommodate procedural and anatomical requirements.
Available with sharp or blunt curette tips, the Bumm pattern provides configurations for different clinical applications. The sharp Bumm uterine curette, the most commonly selected configuration, is designed for controlled curettage and removal of endometrial tissue. The blunt configuration provides a less aggressive curetting edge when a blunt instrument is preferred.
