Bumm Uterine Curette

The Bumm Uterine Curette is a reusable gynecological surgical instrument designed for uterine curettage and removal of tissue from the uterine cavity. The Bumm pattern features a large, fenestrated curette tip, providing a broader working surface for gynecological procedures requiring larger curette sizes.

Available with either a sharp or blunt working edge, the Bumm Uterine Curette can be selected according to the procedural technique. Sharp configurations provide a defined cutting edge for curettage and tissue removal, while blunt configurations feature a non-sharpened working edge when a less aggressive curettage surface is desired.

The instrument is also available with either a rigid or malleable shaft. Rigid models maintain a fixed shaft profile during use, while malleable models can be shaped by the clinician to achieve the desired curvature for access and positioning.

Bumm Uterine Curettes are offered in 30 mm, 35 mm, and 40 mm tip widths. Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel, the instrument is intended for repeated use and reprocessing in accordance with the applicable instructions for use.
