Hu Capsule Polisher

The Hu Capsule Polisher is a reusable ophthalmic surgical instrument designed for controlled removal of lens epithelial cells (LECs) and thorough polishing of the lens capsule during cataract surgery.

Featuring a ring tip positioned at 90° to the shaft, the Hu Polisher provides versatile access to multiple areas of the capsular bag. By flipping the instrument, the surgeon can polish the posterior capsule and anterior capsular leaflet on both the left and right sides.

For access to the sub-incisional capsule, the ring can be rotated downward and moved from left to right, providing an efficient polishing approach to an area that can otherwise be difficult to reach.
