4.5mm long delicate jaws with sharp tips; for cracking, dividing and rotating the nucleus without sculpting

With the Akahoshi Phaco PreChopper sculpting of the nucleus is eliminated and phaco time is reduced. After inserting the sharp tip jaws into the core of the nucleus, the forceps handle is gently squeezed to spread the jaws and divide the nucleus. The patented cross-action mechanism allows the jaws to fully open for cracking without stretching the small incision.
