An ophthalmic instrument for nucleus splitting and manipulation during cataract surgery. The Goldberg design combines a flat, teardrop-shaped blunt tip with an angled shaft for access through a side-port incision.
A compact working profile
The 0.8 mm blunt tip has a flat, teardrop-shaped profile. An angled shaft places the tip 10 mm from the bend, while a round knurled handle provides a textured gripping surface for instrument handling.
