Gowning benches are a real asset to any locker room or clean room. Having a place to store and put on masks, hats, shoe covers and scrubs keeps your locker area clean and neat. This is one thing that has changed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and appears like it is here to stay. Gowns, gloves, masks and caps are required in many more areas than they were pre-pandemic, which may be a challenge for facilities. This gowning bench keeps everything in one place and easy to access.
This fully stainless steel version does not need to be mounted to the floor or wall and is easy to clean and disinfect. Surgical grade stainless steel will hold up to countless cleanings and disinfectants. There is not much point in storing your PPE protection equipment on a bench that could harbor harmful bacteria. This could contaminate the PPE and cause actual harm to your staff. Choose stainless steel.
Offered with a lower brace if you need to straddle obstructions or with a lower shelf for added storage space. Perhaps there is a pipe or other obstruction near the floor that is in the way, but it would make a great spot for a gowning bench. The lower brace is the answer. If you need just a few more inches of storage for those shoe covers and scrubs, the lower shelf will be the obvious choice.
