Double Picket Fence Leg Holder
- This double picket fence leg prepper efficiently preps both legs at once. Double flat blade supports bring added stability to this unit. Can adjust in height up to 30″. Top is covered in rubber and lower supports are stainless steel making it easy to clean. Attaches to OR table rail with two side rail clamps (sold separately).

The preparation of limbs and a patients body for surgery is a big process. The skin must be cleaned and prepared in order for now contaminants to enter the sterile field and risk infection. The double picket fence leg holder is designed to help with this step. Legs tend to be quite heavy, especially when a patient is under general anesthetic, or is a larger patient. There are may ways that staff supports these heavy limbs and at times it can be in a way that is not ergonomic at all.
The double picket fence leg holder, also know as the garden gate leg holder, can be adjusted in height with clamps that attach to the side rails of the OR Table. It is designed to be able to prep 2 legs for surgery at one time. The upper portion is constructed of stainless steel, and coated with rubber type covering for preservation and patient comfort. The 1/4″ x 1″ side supports are constructed of aluminum and fit in any clamp that accepts a flat blade accessory. The stand adjusts in height with the side rail clamps from 4″-30″.
