Thomas Sims Uterine Curette
The Thomas Sims Uterine Curette is a reusable gynecological surgical instrument designed for curettage, tissue removal, and exploration of the uterine cavity. Available with either a malleable or rigid shaft, the instrument provides options to accommodate different procedural preferences and clinical needs.
The malleable version can be shaped as needed to achieve the desired curvature for controlled access to the uterine cavity, while the rigid version maintains a fixed profile for consistent handling and control.
The curette features a blunt, fenestrated loop tip designed for controlled contact with the endometrial surface during gynecological procedures. The blunt profile provides an alternative to sharp curettes when a less aggressive curettage surface is preferred.
A textured Brun-style handle provides a secure grip and tactile control during manipulation. Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel, the Thomas Sims Uterine Curette is designed for repeated use and steam sterilization in accordance with applicable reprocessing instructions.
