Walther Dilators are also referred to as Walther Female Dilator-Catheters. These Dilator-Catheters are hollow, allowing for fluid to pass through the tip to the end of the instrument. A smooth and tapered tip ensures smooth insertion and catheterization of the female urethra to reduce patient discomfort. Made of German Stainless Steel, these Dilators are reusable and autoclavable. Most common uses for the Walther Female Dilator-Catheters are:

  1. Dilation of the female urethra for placement of a cystoscope or hysteroscope
  2. Obtain a urine specimen from a patient
  3. Drain the patient's bladder
There are 14 different sizes ranging from 12Fr. to 38Fr. to accommodate any patient's anatomy. Walther Dilator-Catheter (Female) - Set (12Fr. - 38Fr.) or Individual (12Fr. - 34Fr.) These are only intended for medical and surgical uses and must be ordered by a doctor or hospital.
